Thank you to all who collected spiders for us.  Hopefully your children have shared their knowledge of arachnid body parts as well as what they have learned about hibernation and migration.

The phonics program has been well received and the children are absorbing  the concepts and eagerly participating.  The focus of presenting the alphabet this way is letter recognition and sound recognition while putting the sounds together to form words and ultimately reading.

During the month of December we will be having fun with many Christmas activities.  On Friday, December 18th we are planning a joy filled morning of games, songs, crafts, face painting, and a Christmas movie prior to a zoom visit with Santa.

This will be our last day of preschool and we will re open on Tuesday, January 5th regardless of whether the public school extend their break due to Covid.

If you are planning to go away outside of the Fraser Health district over the holidays please check with the health department with regards to protocols and possible isolation before your child returns to preschool in January.

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy holiday season.

Lyn and Vicki
